Foursquare Is Down
Foursquare’s site is down and has been since at least 7:07 am EST, as officially acknowledged by Foursquare on its status blog.
An updated post at 10:35 am EST says “We’re continuing to work on a fix for the site outage, thanks again for everyone’s patience! We’ll update with more info as soon as we have it.“
For now you’ll have to hold off on those checkins.

Foursquare site is back up. Per Foursquare’s status blog, “UPDATE 11:45am EDT/4:35pm GMT: Everything is back up. Sorry for any inconvenience.“
