Zuvo brings water filtration into the Space Age with its high-tech Zuvo Water system. Zuvo water mimics the way nature filtrates spring water and in ground and rain water in the atmosphere in a five-step process that reduces water’s contaminants while preserving healthy mineral content. Using filtration, ozone and UV it reduces chlorine, lead, tiny particulates and parasites such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia. The finished product is water that is both safer and fresher-tasting.

Currently crowdfunding on Indiegogo, Zuvo’s goal is to raise $50,000 by March 15. With 36 days remaining in the campaign, about $36,000 has been pledged. If the funding goal is met, the Indiegogo project will enable Zuvo to launch a new system called STRATUS—the most intelligent water system on the market.

The Zuvo Stratus system uses Wi-Fi to link Zuvo Water to a specialized smartphone app in order to display the contaminates filtered from the user’s water, the remaining filter life and daily rate of household water consumption. The app can even coach the user on ways to reach hydration goals. The faucets are even designed to indicate filter status with LED lights.

Investors wishing to back Zuvo’s Stratus project on Indiegogo can pledge as little as $10 toward the campaign to help Zuvo eliminate the need for bottled water. The first 2,000 backers at the $10 level will actually receive their very own Zuvo stainless-steel bottle with a sport cap. An $18 pledge will get the backer two water bottles.

For a $30 pledge, Zuvo will award each backer with a home water quality test—an $80 value. The first 500 backers who pledge $79 will receive the wi-fi enabled countertop Zuvo filtration system—a $200 value. The awards increase in value with larger pledges, including an under-counter wi-fi-enabled Zuvo system for a $249 pledge.
